About Alex
In November 2013 Alex caught what he thought was a common cold. 2 weeks later he was on life support with less than 1% chance of survival. He was to undergo amputation of all four limbs and sustained severe facial disfigurement.
11 years later he has been able to create an extraordinary life full of optimism, adventure and dedication to making a difference for those affected by similar circumstance.
About the FLOAT Foundation
The foundation is the culmination of over 10 years of working in the AT space.
The FLOAT vision is one of a society where every person, regardless of their ability, can fully participate and thrive in their communities, empowered by the transformative potential of assistive technology.
