Break Out Assistive Technology Competition (BOAT)
Harnessing the creativity of the younger generation.
What it is
The BOAT Competition is a design technology competition pitching assistive technology (AT) end users with Key stage 3/GCSE/A level students and beyond to create a game changing new piece of AT.
The winning designs will go into our university network where students will develop the concept further, refine the designs and build a prototype. This collaborative process could lead to a new and exciting piece of AT entering the market.
